Spine Surgery Pre-Op Class

Spine surgery is a major decision for you and your family. The Spine Class at Sky Ridge is offered to patients who may be considering spine surgery or who have already opted for this course of treatment. Our free class will help you better understand what to expect before, during and after your surgery and focuses on the following topics:

• Preparing for surgery
• Pain management
• Body mechanics and spine precautions
• Nutrition
• Progress to expect following surgery
• Medication administration
• Your perceptions on the surgery

Registration is required for this class.

Classes are held every Tuesday at 8 a.m. in the Spine & Total Joint Center classroom.
