Breastfeeding Preparation

A good start to breastfeeding can set the stage for a more positive, rewarding experience. In this class, you'll learn practical, current, evidence-based information including:

  • Helpful hints for success
  • Preparing to return to work
  • Pumping
  • Milk storage
  • Ways to develop a support system

Breastfeeding Preparation - Women Only

This breastfeeding class is designed specifically for women only. The curriculum is the same as our Breastfeeding Preparation class (above), but it addresses the privacy needs of some pregnant women who wish to be in an all-female class.

Sky Ridge Parent/Family Education classes are offered at two south metro Denver locations for added convenience:

1) Sky Ridge Medical Center, Garden Level, 10101 RidgeGate Parkway in Lone Tree
2) Sky Ridge Imaging Center at Castle Rock, 1175 S. Perry Street in Castle Rock
