Sky Ridge Medical Center's goal is for both healthy moms and healthy babies throughout the birth experience. As an HCA/HealthONE hospital, Sky Ridge is committed to the Perinatal Safety Initiative that HCA/HealthONE  embraces, including:

• Management of jaundice and prevention of kernicterus
• Maternal medication safety
• Fetal heart monitoring education

Hospital managers along with practicing physicians and nurses at our facilities around the country have participated in designing and implementing these programs.
