Comprehensive Women's Surgery Care

If you require gynecologic surgery as part of your treatment plan, you will visit one of our state-of-the-art operating rooms and Women's Center for recovery following surgery. Many operations performed on the female reproductive region can be done using minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopic surgery and robot-assisted surgery.

Sky Ridge features the da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System for gynecologic procedures

Our hospital is one of only a few in the state using the da Vinci system for robot-assisted procedures on women. Our specially trained robotic surgeons perform the following minimally invasive procedures:

  • Hysterectomy (removal of the uterus or womb)
  • Sacrocolpopexy (treatment for vaginal and uterine prolapse)
  • Myomectomy (removal of uterine fibroids)
